Cathy's Easy Chili Mac

Catherine Patterson

This is my adaptation of a recipe I found on the back of a can of Bush's chili beans. I didn't have all the ingredients, so I changed it up a little.
I usually serve it over elbow macaroni, but for variety you can also put it over rice; it's very good too. I usually add a little sour cream and shredded cheese to mine.

How to Make Cathy's Easy Chili Mac

  1. Brown hamburger, breaking up as it browns; drain. Add the taco seasoning mix, and the water as directed on package. Simmer until the water is absorbed. Add the 2 cans beans, 2 cans diced tomatoes. Stir together and simmer for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook macaroni (or rice) as directed on package. Drain macaroni, put in large bowl or platter and spoon chili mixture over. Top each serving with sour cream, cheese, and onions if desired.
