This will have them saying "Call me anything but just don't call me late for supper!" So flavorful and even better with a good salad on the side and garlic bread. A little shredded mozzarella and parmesan over each serving is a nice compliment.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 package angel hair pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 medium white onion chopped
  • 1/2 small bell pepper chopped
  • 4 stalks celery chopped
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregeno
  • 1 teaspoon cajun hot sauce (i used franks)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 1-3 teaspoon sugar (stop when it's to your taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

How To Make call me anything pasta

  • Step 1
    Saute onion, bell pepper and celery in a little oil. When the onions start to look clear add the ground meat, salt and black pepper and cook a few minutes until it looks brown.
  • Step 2
    Add the stewed tomatoes, hot sauce, garlic powder, cumin, cinnamon , allspice and sugar. Cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Step 3
    While you are preparing the sauce, partially cook the angel hair pasta in salted boiling water until just short of done, then strain. After sauce simmers for about 15 minutes add the strained pasta, cover and simmer for a few more minutes until pasta has finished cooking.
