  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon each worcestershire sauce, italian seasoning, dried basil, garlic powder and salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound spaghetti

How To Make cafeteria spaghetti

  • Step 1
Brown the beef with the onion in a large skillet until beef is no longer pink. Drain and stir in the dry spaghetti sauce mix. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, basil, garlic powder salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
Turn to low and simmer 20 minutes. In the meantime Place a pot of water on the stove and bring to a boil. Season the water with salt and cook the spaghetti about 15 minutes.
  • Step 3
Transer the spaghetti without draining by tongs into the spaghetti sauce mixture. You want some of that pasta water to help the spaghetti adhere to the sauce.
