I didn't feel like going to the store so I looked to see what I had that I could through together and this what I came up with.

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, choped
  • 1 medium onion, choped
  • 1/4 pound baby portebello mushrooms, choped
  • 1 large can of diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 medium can of tomato sauce
  • 5 - hamburger patties
  • 5 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • - olive oil

How To Make burgers-n-pasta

  • Step 1
    Saute Garlic, Onions and mushrooms in oil until onions are just about clear (about 3 min.)
  • Step 2
    Add diced Tomatoes and tomato sauce, reduce heat cover and simmer while you cook the hamburger patties
  • Step 3
    Heat grill to high, season patties with salt and pepper grill burgers 3-4 min. then flip and reduce heat.
  • Step 4
    Pour the sauce in a 9x13 aluminum pan and place the burgers in the sauce, the sauce should just about cover them, close grill and let that simmer while you cook the pasta.
  • Step 5
    cook pasta according to package directions when it's done toss with olive oil
  • Step 6
    Place a slice of cheese on each hamburger patty
