I cook up a lot of pasta at a time and freeze it in serving sizes - usually about 2 cups per baggie. This makes it easy to prep a sauce or veggies to saute with it.

cooked pasta (i like angel hair)
1 c
raw broccoli, chopped
1/2 c
roma tomato, chopped
1 Tbsp
extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp
crushed red pepper
1 clove
1 pinch
oregano (to taste)
1 pinch

How to Make Broccoli, Roma Tomato & Angel Hair Pasta


  • 1Cook pasta - generally best texture is to cook 12 minutes after boil.
  • 2In a fry pan saute garlic and broccoli in olive oil until broccoli is tender crisp.
  • 3Add tomatoes to the fry pan. Sweat tomatoes until they are soft but not mushy.
  • 4Add salt, oregano and red pepper. Mix.
  • 5Add drained pasta to fry pan and toss with vegetables.
  • 6Serve with grated cheese.
