Ingredients
- 1 cup beef chuck, boneless and cut in 1" cubes
- 1.5 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- pinch pepper
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 small onion, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1.5 cups noodles, cooked
How To Make braised beef with noodles

Step 1Brown beef cubes in saucepan until well browned.

Step 2Add 1-1/2 cups water, salt, pepper, and bay leaf.

Step 3Cover and cook over low heat until beef is almost tender--about 1 hour.

Step 4Add onion and celery.

Step 5Continue cooking until meat and vegetables are tender--about 20 minutes.

Step 6Remove bay leaf.

Step 7Mix flour and water until smooth.

Step 8Stir into beef mixture.

Step 9Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened--about 2 minutes.

Step 10Serve over noodles.
