I received this recipe from a close friend that got it from her sister. It's so easy and when you start eating it, you just want more. Creamy, make ahead and simple. I made it for a graduation party and everyone loved it. Hope you enjoy it too!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    small bowtie pasta
  • 1 pkg
    frozen broccoli
  • 1 pkg
    frozen peas
  • 1/3 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 pkg
    shredded cheddar cheese or mexican blend
  • 1 c
    chopped chicken (optional)
  • 1 c
    grape tomatoes (optional)
  • 1-2 bottle
    ranch dressing

How to Make Bowtie Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. cook pasta in salted water until done (12-15 min.) Drain and rinse slightly. Mix with all ingredients except tomatoes and dressing. Pour 1/2 of dressing over salad mixture, cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours or overnite.
  2. Before serving, mix in remainder of salad dressing and top with tomatoes for garnish. YUMMM!
