bow tie pasta salad (sometimes)

I have been making this for years, in restaurant & at home. We just love it!

Ingredients

  • 3 packages (16 ounce) bow tie pasta
  • 1 - red bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 - green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 - yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 cups chopped green onions
  • 1/2 - celery stalk, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 1/4 cups mayonnaise
  • 3 - packets knorr dry vegetable soup mix
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 package frozen peas
  • - salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 - large red onions

How To Make bow tie pasta salad (sometimes)

  • Step 1
    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil
  • Step 2
    Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Sometimes I use just elbow macaroni.
  • Step 3
    Drain, and rinse with cold water until no longer hot.
  • Step 4
    Stir in all the bell peppers, green onions, red onions, celery and olive oil.
  • Step 5
    Mix in mayonnaise, sweet milk & soup mix & peas.
  • Step 6
    Salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step 7
    Refrigerate overnight before serving.
