Dad asked for bolognaise, Texas toast, salad with bacon and blue cheese crumbles. And of course my homemade pecan pie with vanilla ice cream. Happy birthday Daddy, you are my hero and I love you.

- 1/2 pound hamburger
- 1 pound mild italian sausage, ground
- 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 1 jar tomato basil pasta sauce
- italian seasonings
How To Make bolognaise for dad's 85th birthday

Step 1Fry and drain sausage, put into pot. Fry hamburger, drain, add to pot. Fry mushrooms, drain, add to pot. Add sauce, stir. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Let cook on low to med heat, stirring occasionally for flavors to combine. If boiling, lower heat.
