This started out as a recipe I found from Kraft. I made some changes and it became a very tasty dish that is enjoyed by family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • - salt to taste - if desired
  • 2 teaspoons mrs. dash tomato basil garlic seasoning blend
  • 14 1/2 ounces italian flavored diced tomatoes
  • 1 can water (use can from tomatoes)
  • 1 cup macaroni
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make beefy macaroni and cheese

  • Step 1
    Brown ground beef with salt and Mrs. Dash seasoning blend in large skillet; drain.
  • Step 2
    Add tomatoes and water; bring to a boil. Add macaroni and cover. Stir occasionally. Cook until macaroni is tender and most of the water is absorbed.
  • Step 3
    Lower heat and add cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Serve.
