Ingredients

  • 8 ounces ziti, uncooked
  • 16 ounces can green beans, drained
  • 11 ounces can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cans condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 14.5 ounces stewed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated

How To Make beef ziti casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Cook ziti according to package directions; drain.
  • Step 3
    Return cooked ziti and vegetables (green beans and corn) to cooking pot used to cook ziti.
  • Step 4
    Meanwhile, in 10 inch skillet over medium heat, cook beef until browned, stirring to separate meat; drain fat.
  • Step 5
    Stir in soup, tomatoes, basil, pepper and garlic to meat.
  • Step 6
    Heat thoroughly.
  • Step 7
    Add soup mixture to ziti mixture; mix well.
  • Step 8
    Spoon into greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
  • Step 9
    Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes.
  • Step 10
    Uncover; sprinkle with cheese.
  • Step 11
    Bake 5 minutes more or until cheese melts.
  • Step 12
    Makes 7 1/2 cups or 6 servings.
