A friend at work was talking about his wife making this so I decided I'd give it a try. WOW!! The flavor is unbelieveable. This is a must keep and cook at least once a month..

Ingredients

  • - 3 lb chuck roast cut into 1 inch pieces
  • - 1 lb fresh mushrooms, halved
  • - 1 medium onion, sliced
  • - 1 package brown gravy mix
  • - 1 can beef broth
  • - 1 cup red wine
  • - 2 tbsp. tomato paste
  • - 1 bay leaf
  • - egg noodles or rice
  • - i added 2 tablespoons of minced garlic in with the first 3 ingredients along with some tony's seasoning to the meat.

How To Make beef with wine gravy and noodles

  • Step 1
    Place 1st three ingredients in slow cooker. Mix together next four ingredients, then add the bay leaf and pour over the meat & vegetables. Cook on high for six hours.
