My husband likes anything with beef, so I adopted this recipe and made a few changes.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb
    very lean sirloin tip roast, cut into very small pieces
  • 1 qt
    water
  • 1
    medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1
    bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    self-rising flour
  • 1 c
    water
  • 16 oz
    bag of medium noodles

How to Make Beef Tips Over Noodles

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine cubed beef, 1 quart water, onion, bell pepper, worcestershire sauce and soy sauce in a dutch oven.
  2. Place over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
  3. Add garlic powder, seasoned salt and black pepper.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour.
  5. Mix self-rising flour and 1 cup water and stir into hot mixture.
  6. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  7. Serve over cooked noodles.
