- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 pound boneless chuck roast, cut into thin strips
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- - salt & pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 package egg noodles (8 oz)
- 1 1/2 cups diced onion
How To Make beef stroganoff

Step 1In a medium skillet, melt butter and brown beef.

Step 2Add mushrooms and onion; cook until tender.

Step 3Add broth, tomato paste, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer covered, stirring occasionally for 30 minutes or until beef is tender.

Step 4Stir in flour blended with sour cream. Bring to the boiling point, then simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened (about 5 minutes).

Step 5Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions. Serve over noodles.
