Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cans tomato sauce (16 oz. each)
  • 8 ounces package of egg noodles
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 6 - reen onion chopped (tops and bottoms)
  • 9 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2-21/2 cup sour cream

How To Make beef noodle casserole

  • Step 1
    Sauté ground beef in skillet on low heat, breaking it into small pieces with fork until slightly brown.
  • Step 2
    Mix garlic with beef and add sugar, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Cover and cook slowly for 15 – 20 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Cook noodles as directed. Drain.
  • Step 4
    Combine green onions with cream cheese and sour cream.
  • Step 5
    Put half the noodles in casserole dish. Cover with half of the green onion mixture. Cover that with half the meat sauce, then remaining noodles, then remaining onion mixture and top with remaining meat sauce.
  • Step 6
    Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15minutes. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake for another 15 minutes.
