Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 small
    onion
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 6 slice
    pepper jack cheese
  • 8 oz
    pasta, bow-tie or ribbed
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make Beef Macaroni Sour Cream Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Brown ground beef with diced onion, salt, pepper & garlic.
  3. Cook elbow macaroni until tender, drain and mix sour cream & noodles (only) together.
  4. Once noodles are coated with sour cream, combine beef with tomato sauce and place 1/2 of mixture in a 8x10 dish.
  5. Add a layer of noodles and top with 2 slices of cheese. Repeat this once more, topping casserole with remaining cheese slices.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes.
