I have made and enjoyed this recipe for a long time.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1-14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 1-10oz can rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1--6 oz can tomatoe paste
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1-6 oz package medium wide egg noodles
  • 6 - green onions chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

How To Make beef lombardi

  • Step 1
    Brown meat in skillet,drain; add chopped tomatoes and salt,pepper,sugar. Cook for 5 minutes. Add tomatoe paste and Italian seasonings. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain; add chopped green onions and sour cream. Mix well. Grease (or spray with Pam) a 9x13 pan, pour in noodle mixture,then put meat mixture on top of noodles, then sprinkle cheeses on top evenly. (I put the parmesan on first)
  • Step 3
    Bake covered with foil for 35 minutes at 350 degrees and then uncover and cook until nice and brown (about 5 minutes). ENJOY!
