Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons beef base
  • 1/3 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 - garlic clove, minced
  • 3/4 cup macaroni, dry
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3/4 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup american cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How To Make beef and macaroni

  • Step 1
    Place hamburger in large skillet.
  • Step 2
    Separate into small pieces and saute until meat is brown.
  • Step 3
    Separate into small pieces and saute until meat is brown.

    Place pasta in boiling water for 8 minutes and drain.
  • Step 5
    Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to skillet and saute onion, celery, peppers and garlic until soft.
  • Step 6
    Add cooked pasta, hamburger, tomatoes, bouillon, parsley, sugar and pepper.
  • Step 7
    Toss ingredients.
  • Step 8
    Simmer slowly for 20-minutes while stirring frequently.
  • Step 9
    Serve when flavors have blended.
