Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    beef base
  • 1/3 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    dried parsley
  • c
    green bell pepper, diced
  • 1
    garlic clove, minced
  • 3/4 c
    macaroni, dry
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 28 oz
    crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 3/4 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    american cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil

How to Make Beef And Macaroni

Step-by-Step

  1. Place hamburger in large skillet.
  2. Separate into small pieces and saute until meat is brown.
  3. Separate into small pieces and saute until meat is brown.
  4. Place pasta in boiling water for 8 minutes and drain.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to skillet and saute onion, celery, peppers and garlic until soft.
  6. Add cooked pasta, hamburger, tomatoes, bouillon, parsley, sugar and pepper.
  7. Toss ingredients.
  8. Simmer slowly for 20-minutes while stirring frequently.
  9. Serve when flavors have blended.
