How To Make basil pesto pasta
-
Step 1Cook the chicken any way you prefer...great on the grill or just plain boiled with garlic. Shred or break into small bite sized pieces. Cook the bowtie pasta with the carrots. (I do this in water and chicken broth from boiling the chicken.) Drain it and add the vegetables, pasta, two tablespoons of basil pesto, olive oil and cheese. Mix up gently and serve. If you need salt, garlic salt is best.

Step 2This is great leftover! It makes an huge dutch over full of healthy food. My friends request that I make this when they come over! We've even had "Bring your own veges" night where they can add what they want. My grown sons fight over this!
