for barbecue people,i create this new chicken salad recipe,it great with bread bowls.

  • 1
    (16 ounce) package fusilli pasta
  • 1 c
    three-cheese ranch dressing
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1 c
    honey barbecue sauce
  • 2 tsp
    seasoned pepper
  • 1 c
    crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
    cubed processed american cheese
  • 2 3/4 c
    sliced grilled barbecue chicken breasts
  • 3/4 c
    chopped carrots
  • 1/2 c
    diced red onion
  • 1 tsp
    chopped fresh parsley

How to Make Barbecue Chicken Salad


  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water,cook pasta until
    al dente,rinse under cold water,and drain.
  2. In medium bowl,combine ranch dressing,sour cream,barbecue sauce and seasoned pepper,Whisk together until smooth,set aside.
  3. In a large salad bowl,combine cooked and cooled pasta,
    sliced chicken,cheeses,carrots,onion and parsley.Mix in
    dressing last,reserving 1/2 cup.Let sit overnight in fridge.Stir before serving.Add extra dressing if pasta appears dry.
