for barbecue people,i create this new chicken salad recipe,it great with bread bowls.

Ingredients

  • 1 - (16 ounce) package fusilli pasta
  • 1 cup three-cheese ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup honey barbecue sauce
  • 2 teaspoons seasoned pepper
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups cubed processed american cheese
  • 2 3/4 cups sliced grilled barbecue chicken breasts
  • 3/4 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley

How To Make barbecue chicken salad

  • Step 1
    In a large pot of salted boiling water,cook pasta until al dente,rinse under cold water,and drain.
  • Step 2
    In medium bowl,combine ranch dressing,sour cream,barbecue sauce and seasoned pepper,Whisk together until smooth,set aside.
  • Step 3
    In a large salad bowl,combine cooked and cooled pasta, sliced chicken,cheeses,carrots,onion and parsley.Mix in dressing last,reserving 1/2 cup.Let sit overnight in fridge.Stir before serving.Add extra dressing if pasta appears dry.
