Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 7 oz
    tuna, canned
  • 10.5 oz
    cream of mushroom soup, condensed
  • 1 c
    chow mein noodles
  • 1/3 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/3 c
    chow mein noodles

How to Make Baked Tuna Chow Mein Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. In a deep, 1 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole, melt 2 tablespoons butter in microwave oven 30 seconds.
  2. Add celery, onion and green pepper to melted butter.
  3. Heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients except 1/3 cup chow mein noodles with vegetables. Blend well.
  5. Top with 1/3 cup of chow mein noodles.
  6. Heat in microwave oven, uncovered, 10 minutes or until sauce bubbles.
