Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound mild italian sausage, casings removed
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 24 ounces jar marinara sauce
- 8 ounces can tomato sauce
- 1 box (16 ounces) rigatoni pasta, cooked
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
How To Make baked rigatoni pasta

Step 1Heat the oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Add the ground beef and sausage to the pan. Season the meat with salt and pepper.

Step 2Cook the meat for 3-4 minutes. Add the onion to the pan. Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add the marinara sauce and tomato sauce to the pan and bring the sauce to simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 3Toss the cooked rigatoni with the sauce. Pour the pasta mixture Into greased 9 X 13 inch pan and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake 350 degrees , covered for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes, then serve.
