Ingredients
- 1 box manicotti shells
- 1 pound ground chuck, cooked & drained
- 12 ounces cottage cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce, (i always use ragu traditional)
How To Make baked manicotti
-
Step 1Prepare shells by boiling in water. You want them to be mostly done, but still firm enough to handle for stuffing. I usually have a couple that split open on me, but there are still enough to fill a 9x12 casserole dish.
-
Step 2Brown your meat, draining grease off. Add to this the cottage cheese and 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.
-
Step 3Spray your casserole dish with PAM. Stuff the shells with meat filling mixture and place in dish side by side filling up the entire dish. Spread any leftover filling over the top of the filled shells and sprinkle the remaining cup of shredded cheese on top.
-
Step 4Bake at 350 for approximately 30-40 minutes.
