I believe this recipe originally came from my great maternal grandmother who handed it down to my grandma and she gave it to her daughters and my mom gave it to my sisters and me. Great Grandma Tiller came from Tronhiem, Norway in 1872.

Ingredients
- 3 large egg
- 1 cup canned milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup cooked macaroni (1/2 cup dried)
- 3 slices bacon, uncooked
- to taste - salt and pepper
How To Make baked macaroni & cheese

Step 1Add enough water in a pan and bring it to a boil. Cook macaroni according to the package directions.

Step 2Either spray the baking pan with cooking spray or use butter or margarine to grease the 1 quart baking dish or loaf pan.

Step 3In a mixing bowl,beat the eggs well add the milk and salt and pepper to the eggs and stir well. Add cheese and hot macaroni to mixture. Stir well to make sure it is blended well. Pour into baking dish. Press down on the macaroni mixture to fill the hollow sections of the macaroni.

Step 4If very fatty bacon, partially cook strips of bacon until they are half cooked. Place bacon strips on top of the macaroni and cheese. Bake at 325 degree F for approximately 30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean in the center of the baking dish.
