1/4 Tbspgarlic chopped
1tomatoes fresh diced
3/4 Tbspwhite wine
1 16 oz cjar of nonna's gourmet foods marinara sauce
1/2 Tbspparmesan cheese
3/4 cmozzarella cheese
3/4 cmascarpone cheese
·fresh basil for garnish
1/4 cred onion diced
How to Make Bake Orrechhiette Pasta with Basilica Sauce and 3 Cheese
- 1.preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. Bring pasta pot filled with water 2/3 cups to the top a boil. Add 3 Tblsp.of kosher salt to it, when done drain and set a side until sauce is done.
3.Add pasta and stir, cook at a boil until pasta is al dente (cook not soft)
4. While pasta is cooking heat a large sauce pan on medium-high + oil,red onions 1/4 cup diced, garlic and tomato. Saute appox. 2-3 min. then + white wine. scrap bits of the bottom,and bring to a boil.
5.Now add the NONNA'S GOURMET FOODS MARINARA SAUCE and bring back to a boil turn heat down and let cook for 2 min or more.
6.Remove from heat and add mascarpone cheese, stirring to blend. Now + pasta and fresh basil toss to combined
7.Take a greased 9x13 inch baking casserole+ pasta/sauce mixture spreading out evenly sprinkle top with parmesan cheese and then mozzarella cheese. cover with saran wrap and then aluminum foil. Bake 10-12 min.covered, then uncover and bake for 5-7 min.more remove from over and serve. serves 4 generously
