bahamian macaroni and cheese

Ingredients
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
- 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped (i add more)
- 1 tablespoon green pepper, finely chopped (i add more)
- 1 tablespoon celery, finely chopped
- 6 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 12-oz cans evaporated milk
- 2 dashes hot pepper sauce, to taste
- 1 - egg, lightly beaten, optional
How To Make bahamian macaroni and cheese

Step 1Add the onion, green pepper and celery to the macaroni; stir.

Step 2Add one-half of the cheese and stir over low heat until melted.

Step 3Season and stir in evaporated milk.

Step 4Spoon into a well-greased 8x8x2-inch baking pan and sprinkle remaining cheese evenly on top.

Step 5Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350F for 20 minutes.

Step 6Let stand for 10 min and cut into squares to serve.
