bacon pasta
(1 RATING)
We had a version of this at a friend's house and I came home, altered the recipe just a little and it quickly became a family favorite.

How To Make bacon pasta
-
Step 1Start water boiling for pasta. Next start browning the bacon until it is crisp in a deep frying pan. While the bacon is cooking, heat frozen peas in microwave 1 minute less than what the package says. They should still be "crisp" when you add them to the pasta. When the bacon is about 1/2 way done, add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package directions. Remove the bacon from the pan, drain half of the bacon grease and leave the rest in the pan. When the pasta is finished cooking, drain it and then add it to the bacon grease. Toss it in the bacon grease to coat it. Add peas and alfredo sauce (you can use more than one jar if you like your pasta with more sauce). Crumble bacon into the pasta and stir to combine everything. Just before serving, add the Parmesan cheese and stir. Serve and enjoy!
