Found this recipe and did a little tweaking to my liking..plan to try it at a pot luck this Sunday...more details after I get the reviews.

Ingredients

  • 1 box
    betty crocker suddenly salad classic salad mix
  • 4 slice
    turkey bacon
  • 1/4 c
    minced onion
  • 3 bottle
    balsmaic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    splenda brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1/4 tsp
    dijon mustard
  • 4 c
    baby spinach
  • 1 small
    asian pear cut into bite size pieces
  • 4 oz
    blue cheese, crumbled (1 cup)

How to Make Bacon Pasta Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook pasta 12 minutes then drain and rinse with cool water.
  2. Meanwhile, cook bacon and onion in 1 tablespoon of canola oil until bacon is crisp. Remove bacon. Add seasoning pack from salad mix, vinegar, brown sugar, oil and mustard to bacon drippings.
  3. Return bacon and onions to the bacon drippings and mix. Toss spinach, pasta and pears with bacon dressing.
