Ingredients

  • 1 - chopped yellow onion
  • 2 dashes canola oil
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 box mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon powder
  • 16-18 ounces sour cream
  • 1 package egg noodles
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

How To Make auntie's best beef stroganoff

  • Step 1
    in a medium/large frying pan heat the oil and onion.
  • Step 2
    Add mushrooms and brown ground beef and the seasonings
  • Step 3
    once meat is browned, add sour cream and stir until evenly mixed. then turn down heat and cover until pasta is ready.
  • Step 4
    boil the egg noodles (only takes about 5 min to cook)
  • Step 5
    strain the noodles, do NOT rinse.
  • Step 6
    Combine the noodles with the sauce, and SERVE!!
