Super easy to make. Kind of reminds me of Steak n' Shake's Chili Three-Ways. My aunt would make this everytime I went over for sleep overs with my cousins. She knew that this was one of my favorite meals that she would cook.

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 can(s)
    dark red kidney beans, undrained
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1 can(s)
    15 oz hunt's tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • ·
    salt, to taste
  • 16 oz
  • ·
    parmesan cheese, to taste

How to Make Aunt Verna's Chili Mac


  1. Brown ground beef and onions, then drain.
  2. Add tomato sauce, tomato soup, kidney beans, chili powder and salt (to taste).
  3. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
  4. Serve over individual spaghetti servings.
  5. Sprinkle on parmesan cheese (to taste).
