  • 8 oz
    angel hair pasta
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2
    scallions, minced
  • 2 clove
    garlic, peeled and minced
  • 8 oz
    cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c
    fresh basil leaves, roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp
    coarse kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper

How to Make Angel Hair Pomodoro

  1. Cook angel hair in Microwave Pasta Maker 8-10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water. Mince garlic and scallions. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a fry pan over medium-high heat. Add scallions and garlic and cook 2 minutes or until fragrant. Add tomatoes and cook 2-4 minutes, or until the tomatoes are tender and begin to breakdown slightly. Add the pasta to the pan and toss with Parmesan, basil, salt and pepper until well coated. Add reserved water if the sauce seems too dry. Top with additional parmesam and basil, if desired. Serve immediately.
