Ingredients
- 1 large lemon
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 ounces angel hair pasta
- 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
- salt and pepper
How To Make angel hair pasta with vodka lemon cream sauce

Step 1Place a large pot of salted water on the stove and bring to a boil. Zest the lemon and set the zest aside. Squeeze the juice of the lemon to measure 2 tablespoons, set aside.

Step 2Combine the cream and vodka in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and boil for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, add the angel hair to the pot of boiling water and cook until al dente.

Step 3Once the cream has thickened a bit, add the lemon juice and half the lemon zest. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce. Cook 2 minutes. Stir in the basil and top with the remaining lemon zest.
