Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts, crushed
  • 2 cans sliced ripe olives, drained (2 1/4 ounce cans)
  • 18 cloves garlic, crushed (about 1 small head)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 16 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated

How To Make angel hair pasta with olives, pine nuts and basil

  • Step 1
    Combine the first 5 ingredients in a skillet. Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Take care not to burn the garlic!!
  • Step 2
    Set aside and keep warm.
  • Step 3
    Cook the pasta according to the package directions; drain well. Place the pasta in a bowl.
  • Step 4
    Add the pine nut mixture and toss well. Sprinkle with cheese.
