  • 3/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1/2 c
    pine nuts, crushed
  • 2 can(s)
    sliced ripe olives, drained (2 1/4 ounce cans)
  • 18 clove
    garlic, crushed (about 1 small head)
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh basil, chopped
  • 16 oz
    angel hair pasta
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese, freshly grated

How to Make Angel Hair Pasta with Olives, Pine Nuts and Basil


  1. Combine the first 5 ingredients in a skillet. Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Take care not to burn the garlic!!
  2. Set aside and keep warm.
  3. Cook the pasta according to the package directions; drain well. Place the pasta in a bowl.
  4. Add the pine nut mixture and toss well. Sprinkle with cheese.
