Ingredients
- 1 pound angel hair pasta
- 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon plus 1/4 cup olive oil, divided
- 1/4 cup colatura
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped Italian parsley
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
- salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make angel hair pasta with colatura

Step 1Cook the angel hair in salted boiling water. In a small skillet, add the Panko and 1 Tbsp olive oil and cook until browned. Set aside.

Step 2In a large bowl, add the colatura and garlic. Drizzle in the remaining olive oil, whisking the whole time. Add 2 Tbsp of pasta water. Keep whisking to make a sauce. Add 1/2 cup pasta water and parsley and whisk some more. Drain the pasta. Add the pasta to the bowl and toss to coat the pasta with the sauce.

Step 3Stir in the breadcrumbs and lemon zest. Taste to adjust for salt and pepper.
