How To Make angel hair pasta salad
-
Step 1Prepare the angel hair pasta according to directions (al dente). Cool and set aside. While the pasta is cooking, steam each kind of vegetable separately 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse in cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
-
Step 2In a large bowl, combine chopped onions, black olives, red pepper, monterrey jack cheese. Chop the snow peas in half, as well as the broccoli florets. Combine all steamed vegetables into the bowl with the other ingredients. Add feta cheese. Add cooked pasta. Season with salt and black pepper. Note: Add some garlic powder if you do not use the garlic dressing.
-
Step 3Sprinkle in the McCormicks Supreme Salad seasoning, using approximaly 3/4 of the bottle. Add the parmesan cheese and toss all ingredients. Pour in enough garlic dressing to moisten the salad good (which requires most of the dressing) but do not oversaturate the salad. You can always add more later after it has chilled. The pasta will soak up some of the dressing. Chill at least 4 hours or longer. It is even better the next day. Enjoy! *You can buy this dressing online (garlic-expressions.com) or substitute another good vinaigrette or italian dressing.
