alfredo sauce
(2 RATINGS)
My granddaughter loves this alfredo sauce. She calls it "white sauce". I always use real butter, not margarine, as the butter gives it a rich flavor.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks real butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups parmesan cheese (shredded)
How To Make alfredo sauce
-
Step 1Melt the butter but do not let it brown. Add garlic and sautee until it starts to turn light brown.(feel free to add more garlic if you love garlic)
-
Step 2Add the whipping cream and mix well to incorporate the butter with the cream. (I sometimes lightly use my wisk to make sure it mixes well.) Stir for 2-3 minutes. Add the parmesan cheese and stir quickly as it will start to thicken right away.
-
Step 3Serve over hot, cooked pasta! Yummy!!
