wild rice and venison casserole

This is 1 of the many recipes that I have developed over my lifetime of outdoor life.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound venison, ground
  • 1 1/2 cups wild rice, cooked
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 - chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

How To Make wild rice and venison casserole

  • Step 1
    Brown venison in a heavy skillet.
  • Step 2
    Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Step 3
    Pour into a 2 1/2 or 3 quart casserole dish.
  • Step 4
    Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Uncover, and bake an additional 30 minutes.
