How To Make venison (deer) steak
-
Step 1Heat a little oil in frying pan that has a lid. Shake deer pieces in flour mixture in a bag and fry when oil is hot browning on both sides. Pour out oil if there is too much when you get ready to add the soup because you don't want but just a tiny bit left. When deer is done pour soup and water over the meat stirring to mix well. Bring back to a low boil. Cover with lid. Lower temperature to simmer. Simmer about 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking. Simmering a while will make the meat very tender. Add a little more water if needed.

Step 2Serve over rice.
