Quick, easy, and delicious. I have to make two of these when I cook for my family because they like it so much. You can substitute burger for pretty much any other meat. I use burger because its not too expensive and we like it. I serve this with my Garlic Cheddar Biscuits and fruit salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shredded hashbrowns, the frozen ones
  • 1 - onion, small, chopped
  • 1 1/2 pounds hamburger (or meat of your choice)
  • 2 cans cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make too easy caserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Spray 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Step 3
    In frying pan brown hamburger and onion. Drain grease from pan. (If using other meat make sure its cooked then sprinkle onion on top)
  • Step 4
    Spread meat and onion evenly in baking pan.
  • Step 5
    Evenly spread the two cans of soup over meat in baking pan.
  • Step 6
    Spread hashbrowns evenly over the soup.
  • Step 7
    Sprinkle cheese over the top.
  • Step 8
    Do not cover! If you do the hashbrowns will be soggy and yucky. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes or until the hashbrowns are lightly brown and the cheese is melted.
