Ingredients For tomato pie

  • 4-6 lg
    tomatoes cut into half inch slices
  • 1
    olive oil
  • 1 md
    green pepper diced
  • 1 md
    red bell pepper diced
  • 1 large
    onion diced
  • 1 pkg
    bacon or sausage if wanted just as good without any meats
  • 1 pkg
    pilsbury biscuits
  • 1 1/2 c
    mozzerella cheese or any kind

How To Make tomato pie

  • 1
    dice all veggies except tomato , in the heated olive oil saute over med heat until onions are translucent
  • 2
    in a 9x13 inch pan press the biscuits into bottom forming a solid cover, place sliced tomatoes over dough have optional meat already cooked and crumbled
  • 3
    cover tomatoes with cooked veggies, meat and cheese. bake until cheese is melted in center and sides are crisp about 25 to 30 mins
