tomato mix up
(2 RATINGS)
This recipe was included in the "Chicken Soup for the Soul Cookbook". Some of you will remember Art Linkletter. This was his recipe. There's quite a story behind it, but not sufficient room to share it here. I will say that during hard times when I was young (right before pay day) we ate this too! It is not fancy, but as Art says, neither is a peanut butter sandwich and a glass of milk, or a cookie and some lemonade! "Sometimes the simplist things in life are the best, especially (for me) when they bring back wonderful memories." Amen, Art.
