Tasty Chili Dog Casserole

I saw this recipe on another internet site. Grandma made something very similar to this, so I couldn't resist posting. Tasty!
The internet site where I obtained this recipe (allfree casseroles?) used 'Simply Potatoes' - a pre-cooked potato, I think. I have never used these - grandma used regular potatoes sliced thin, and they worked out. Photo by Simple Potatoes brand.

Ingredients

1 pkgsimply potatoes slices - or 2 to 3 russets, thinly sliced

2 can(s)(15 oz each) chili with or without beans

1 pkgweiners (16 oz) cut in one-inch pieces

1 pkgcanned refrigerator flakey biscuits

2 ccheddar cheese, grated
How to Make Tasty Chili Dog Casserole
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Spread potatoes in thin layer in bottom of baking dish. Top evenly with one can of chili. Cover with aluminum foil; bake for 30 minutes.
- Uncover; top with hot dogs and remaining chili. Separate biscuits; place over chili. Sprinkle with cheese. Continue baking, uncovered, for 15 to 18 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
