Imagine my surprise when I found this recipe. I have always known it as S. O. S. (Sh.. on a Shingle) even during my days with the Navy, we all called it that. In fact, I think I recall it actually being billed as that! I think Aggamat is actually egg gravy in Swedish. What ever it is called, it is still a quick, easy and inexpensive meal that fills the belly! Oh, and the recipe was dated 1912!

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound hamburger (or chipped beef)
- 1 pint milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2-3 - egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons flour
How To Make swedish aggamat

Step 1Fry hamburger (or any kind of meat including chipped beef). Pour off all fats.

Step 2In a separate bowl mix the rest of the ingredients with a wire whisk. Pour into skillet with meat. Stir constantly until gravy thickens. Pour over toast or biscuits.
