Ingredients
- 1 can 20 oz pineapple chunks in juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlicpowder
- 1 package hot dogs sliced on the diagonal into 11/2 pieces
- 1/2 - green bell pepper cut into 1 inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 8 cups hot cooked white rice
How To Make sweat and sour hot dogs with rice

Step 1Drain pineapple chunks and reserve juice in bowl. Stir juice with brown sugar, apple cider vinagar, soy sauce and garlic powder.

Step 2In skillet heat oil over medium high heat. Cook hot dogs till lightly browned. Remove from skillet.

Step 3Add pineapple juice mixture, drained pineapple chunks and chopped peppers to skillet.

Step 4Heat on medium low 5 to 6 minutes. Uncovered.

Step 5Beat cornstarch and water .Add to skillet stir constantly till thick. Add hot dogs and cook 4 minutes. Serve over rice.
