My Mother-In-law recipes are so good love that I'm can put them up to share,

Ingredients

  • 2 - heads cabbage
  • 2 to 3 pounds ground beef
  • 1 large onion(chopped fine)
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 6 slices white bread
  • - salt and pepper
  • - water

How To Make stuffed cabbage

  • Step 1
    peal cabbage off the head,cook cabbage in big pot of water til somewhat soft.In bowl add bread and water until soft, drain and squeeze water out of bread.
  • Step 2
    In mixing bowl add meat,chopped onions,eggs,bread.mix all together.mix good.set a side, take cabbage out of water,take one leaf at a time and stuff with meat mixture,small amount,(cause you have to roll them)roll cabbage around it.cut hardcore of cabbage.
  • Step 3
    In pot melt butter and add about 1/2 cup flour and stir,add remaining flour, get brown ,keep stirring,when brown add water,mix thoroughly.
  • Step 4
    Put rolled up cabbage in roasting pan and pour in brown gravy mixture on top.over and cover ,at 350 for about 1 1/2 hours
