Ingredients
- 1 - squirrel, cut up
- - all purpose flour
- - salt and pepper
- 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 7 cups boiling water
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 cup corn
- 3 - potatoes, cubed
- 3 medium onions, sliced
- 2 cups tomatoes, canned
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
How To Make squirrel stew

Step 1Dredge squirrel pieces in flour, salt, and pepper.

Step 2Brown in butter.

Step 3Add squirrel and all ingredients except the tomatoes to the boiling water.

Step 4Cover and simmer for 1 to 2 hours.

Step 5Add the tomatoes and continue to simmer for another hour.
