olive oil
lamb shanks
1 large
chopped onion
1 tsp
1 Tbsp
cloves garlic
1 1/2 c
chicken broth
peeled and cut up carrots
4 large
peeled and quarted potatoes
1 c
1 c
green beans
juice of a lemon
1 c
white wine

How to Make Spring Lamb Shank


  • 1poke some Garlic in the shanksSprinkle with olive oil, oregano,rosemary, salt and pepper. bake at 400 degreese for 30 minutes. Then lower the heat to 325 degrease.Simmer for 3 hours. After one hour of cooking time , add the broth, lemon, and some rind, water and wine.After 2 hours of cooking add the potatoes and the carrots. 15 minutes fe for serving add the beans and the peas. Bast the lamb as needed.
