Ingredients
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 4 - lamb shanks
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon rosemary
- 3 - cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 6 - peeled and cut up carrots
- 4 large peeled and quarted potatoes
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup green beans
- - juice of a lemon
- 1 cup white wine
How To Make spring lamb shank

Step 1poke some Garlic in the shanksSprinkle with olive oil, oregano,rosemary, salt and pepper. bake at 400 degreese for 30 minutes. Then lower the heat to 325 degrease.Simmer for 3 hours. After one hour of cooking time , add the broth, lemon, and some rind, water and wine.After 2 hours of cooking add the potatoes and the carrots. 15 minutes fe for serving add the beans and the peas. Bast the lamb as needed.
