I recommend severing this over rice. I prefer Jasmin rice. You could leave out the chorizo and make this a vegetarian dish.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot


  • 1 1/2 lb
  • 1
    onion, diced
  • 2
    carrots, diced
  • 3
    stalks of celery, sliced
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic, ginger, cumin, & turmeric
  • I Tbsp
    curry powder & tomato bullion
  • I can(s)
    diced tomatoes + 1 can of water.
  • I pkg
    frozen diced potatoes
  • 1 lb
    frozen multicolored bell peppers
  • 1 pkg
    dried lentils, soaked

How to Make Spicy sausage and lentils


  1. Place all ingredients except lentils in slow cooker on high. Break up chorizo.
  2. After 3 hours add the lentils and enough water to cover. Cook 2 more hours.
