Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 28 ounces can tomatoes, undrained
- 10 3/4 ounces chicken broth
- 2 1/2 cups cannellini beas, drain and rinse
- 1 small can green chilies, drained
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced thin
- 1 cup mexican style cheese
- sour cream, optional
- salsa, optional
- chopped cilantro, optional
How To Make slow cooker turkey chili

Step 1Saute turkey in 2 T oil in large skillet about 5 min, break it up while cooking. Drain liquid. Put turkey in slow cooker. In remaining oil, sauce onion 4 min. Add garlic, cumin, oregano, salt and pepper. Saute 1 min. Add tomatoes and broth, simmer about 5 min. Stir in beans. Pour over turkey in slow cooker. Stir well. Cook on low 6 hours.

Step 2Stir in chilies, bell pepper and cheese. Cook,, uncovered, 10 min on high. Spoon into bowls, serve with sour cream, salsa and cilantro.
