slow cooker squash & lentil soup

I just love this recipe, i've been trying to lose weight and i put two yummy ingredients together and came up with this lol i hope you all enjoy it as much as we do! Aloha

Ingredients

  • 16 oz packages dried lentils
  • 15 oz cans diced tomato
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons goya adobo seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 small bay leaves
  • 1 small green squash diced
  • 1 large round onion
  • 6 cloves garlic minced

How To Make slow cooker squash & lentil soup

  • Step 1
    Add bag of Lentils,Diced tomato,Diced onion,Diced Squash & Minced Garlic into slowcooker NOTE: Disregard the soaking directions on the back of bag of Lentils, It soaks as the slow cooker is heating up :)
  • Step 2
    Add water to cover,add Goya seasoning, Black pepper & bay leaves
  • Step 3
    Last, cover and set your slow cooker to high and in 5 hours you'll be able to enjoy a wonderful soup that EVERYONE will love!!!
